Distribution of the hydro profits to local Communities
The disposable profits generated by the hydro are transferred to an independent, local charity, Dŵr Anafon, established in 2017 to distribute the money for the benefit of the communities of Abergwyngregyn and Llanfairfechan.
The Trustees of this charity are representative of the communities designated to benefit from the project and consider applications for funding from these communities.
